Experience an unforgettable winter vacation with our new Sled Dog Tour Package. This package is for those who want to experience the true beauty of Minnesota's wintry landscape and the poetry of fourteen dogs working in unison.
The Wildwood Resort Sled Dog Tour Package includes two night's lodging in one of our Luxury 3- or 4-bedroom cabins, a two-hour sled dog tour, an evening snack of hot chocolate and popcorn and a morning breakfast of coffee and bagels (along with souvenir Wildwood Resort mugs for you to keep).
 The dog sled tour is provided by local musher Joel Kersting, owner of Suomi Hills Kennel. All the dogs and equipment are provided to create a great time for everyone. Your sled dog tour begins right at Wildwood Resort with a large team (usually 12 or 14 dogs) pulling two sleds in tandem. The tour can accommodate two adult guests or up to five people, as long as the total weight does not exceed 400 pounds. One guest drives the second sled while the other(s) sits comfortable bundled in the first sled. Several short stops for picture taking are made and you are allowed to switch places.
