Dog Sled Adventure Package

Experience an unforgettable winter vacation with our Sled Dog Tour Package! This package is for those who want to experience the true beauty of Minnesota's wintry landscape and the poetry of a team of dogs working in unison.

Your sled dog adventure weekend begins with a two-night stay in our luxurious Northwoods accommodations. Each of our cabins are furnished with all the comforts of home including gas fireplace, cable TV and log furnishings. The adventure continues with a 1 hour dog sled ride through the peaceful forest on one of the hundreds of miles of trails that criss-cross Itasca County. Tours can be an exhilarating one hour trip or a longer adventure that includes dinner on the trail or at a local restaurant. And trips can be for just your family or for larger groups.

The dog sled tour is provided by local mushers Joe & Robin Oberton of Krystal Kennels. Krystal Kennels is a family-oriented dog sledding kennel that offer scenic dogsled rides on pristine northern Minnesota trails.

Family Adventure Weekend
Cost: $520.00

Cost: $740.00

• 2 Nights Lodging in a Luxury 4 Bedroom Cabin
• 1-Hour Sled Dog Tour on an area trail
  (Additional time to accommodate longer rides can be arranged for an addiitonal fee)

Sled Dog Adventure for Two
Cost: $650.00

• Rate includes 2 adults
  (please note that dog sled tour has a combined weight limit of 400 lbs.)
• 2 Nights Lodging in a Luxury 3 or 4 Bedroom Cabin
• 4-Hour Leisure Sled Dog Trip which includes lunch or dinner on an area trail or at a local restaurant

Please note:

• The deposit required is equal to 50% of package price. Please note that deposits are non-refundable.
• The availability of the Dog Sled Adventure package is subject to weather conditions as well as snow conditions. Krystal Kennels may cancel sled dog rides if temperatures are too dangerous for a safe ride or if snow conditions create unsuitable trail conditions. The portion of our deposit that is for the dog sled tour is fully refundable if the sled dog ride is canceled by Krystal Kennels due to weather or snow conditions.
• Additional nights lodging can be added be added to one of these packages for $50/night.
