Enter Wildwood Resort Fishing Contest

Every year from Fishing Opener to the end of October we hold the annual Wildwood Fishing Contest. Entries for walleye, northern, largemouth bass and bluegill are recorded and prizes awarded for the biggest fish (based on weight) in each category. We also hold random drawings that include all entries for the season.

2010 Contest Winners

Rick won the Bluegill division with this 1 lb 1.5 oz bluegill caught on July 4th.

Jeremy caught and released this 4lb 6oz largemouth on July 1st and won the Largemouth division in the process.

In a repeat appeaerance in the Winner’s Circle Travis caught this 10 lb 14 oz northern on the Mississippi on August 21st.

Al set the bar high early in the season (June 8th) when he caught this winner weighing in a 5lb.

Dan took top prize in the “Catch, Photo and Release” category when he caught and released this 3lb 3 oz bass on June 7th.

Rick won the Keeper division prize with his 3 lb 5.5 oz largemouth caught on October 2nd.
